3. 2) Wet-Sealed Engineering documents for permits ($245).
   At your request, SunPorch will provide required engineering documents to obtain a permit. Basic documents include a one page Wet-Sealed letter stamped by a local state engineer with code compliance reference information. This usually helps to expedite the process, but does not always guarantee a building permit. SunPorch also offer site-specific engineering services at an additional cost of $245. These services may include: deck drawings, foundation details, drifting snow load calculations, eave attachment detail sketches, etc. At your request, we can call your local building department to obtain the specific requirements for your installation. The $245 payment is not refundable.
   

LIVE LOAD (snow load):
The temporary load applied to the roof of the SunPorch measured in pounds per square foot (psf). Other factors affecting this can include drifting or sliding snow from adjacent roofs. Snow weight varies by density which can be heavy & wet, or light & fluffy. A 30 psf rating can range between 3' of heavy wet snow or up to 5' of light, fluffy snow. The standard for SunPorch sunrooms is 30-45 psf depending upon width structure. The psf for your sunroom can be increased at additional costs. Contact Customer Service for details.
