4 Ways to Attach the SunPorch to Your Home

Mounting Direct to a Wall (See 1 - Direct To Wall)

How the SunPorch sun room addition attaches to your home depends upon:

• The mounting location
• The height of the SunPorch sunroom series you have chosen

If sunroom series height will be mounted to a flat wall or will fit below an existing eave, you can attach the sunroom addition directly to the house

Mounting To An Eave (See 2, 3 & 4 - To Fascia)

If the sunroom series height is tight to the bottom of an eave, attach to a lowered fascia. If series height is about level with the height of an eave, attach to existing fascia. If sun room series height is tight or too tall, attach to raised fascia.

If the series height is below eave height, you can attach the sun room addition directly to the house.

Option:If the SERIES WIDTH is too wide, you can:

• Reduce the width of the sun room unit.

Note:If the wall attachment area interferes with a door or window, you will need to increase the height and possibly mount to the fascia. For mounting, see Attachment B. Also see Knee Wall Door and Height Increase.

If the height of your preferred sunroom series is tight to bottom of eave, attach to lowered fascia.

Add a new fascia board over the existing fascia (or replace fascia) to lower the height of the attachment surface. Gutter, if present, can be retained if unit can be mounted underneath.

Options:If the Total Width is too wide, you can:

• Go to a narrower series of sunroom
• Reduce the sun room unit width
• Reduce the sun room unit height

If the sunroom series height is about level to height of eave, attach to existing fascia.

Add a new fascia board on top of existing one.

Options:If the Total Width is too wide, you can:

• Go to a narrower sun room series.
• Reduce the width of the sunroom unit.
• Reduce the height of the sunroom unit.
